It's no news that all diet version of caffeinated beverages do not nearly taste like their sugar packed siblings.

Let's take Coke for instance, Diet Coke almost has a decent taste but the refreshing impact of the first sip is nowhere near the original.

Thanks to subtle chemistry and brilliant engineers at Coke, this could be pretty soon a thing of the past as we will soon be able to welcome Coca-Cola Zero.

I tasted it a few days ago and, even if the taste it leaves in your mouth is not exactly like regular Coke, we are almost there. The rush of the first sip is extremely close to the real deal... while keeping the counter at 0.5kcal/100ml.

Note to Coke researchers: what about pouring some cherry in it?

Hidden somewhere in Les Marolles (next to the famous bar Chez Jeannine), there's this new restaurant called Soul.
Yes, it's yet another one of these conceptual fooding outlet but the Chef (coming all the way from New York, via Amsterdam) is so cool and talented that it's really worth paying a visit. Especially if you consider how hard it is to find some healthy food at a reasonable price in downtown Brussels. Oh yeah, and the place is 100% non-smoking!

A Chicago processor of steaks and other meat products, is voluntarily recalling some 739,000 pounds of vacuum packaged steaks and other meat products that may be contaminated with potentially deadly bacteria. Need I say more?

On an ordinary day in a country during peacetime...

Impaled birds are roasting behind shop windows. Dismembered bodies are decorating market stalls. On the bridges of boats twitching fish are slowly asphyxiating. Dismal lives are spent in foul-smelling hangars. Live animals have their beaks, teeth and testicles forcibly removed. Specially designed feeding funnels are forced into throats. Everywhere there are lorries stuffed with the condemned. Those that will have their throats cut, bleed and be carved up.

On this ordinary day, there are millions filled with fear and suffering. In this country at peace; torture and murder are a part of daily life.

From a disgusting piece of pro-meat propaganda and vegetarian McCarthyism : Many vegetarians recruit. Often, that eating style is just a plank in a larger political platform marked by other radicalisms in philosophy and behavior. Damn, they forgot to mention the common lie stating that Hitler was a vegetarian.

I really don't know what to think about this quite provocative hardline veg propaganda...
