I'm so glad I spotted this a couple of days ago on the door of Plaizier.

This Joost Swarte exhibition seems worth a trip down to the Kingdom of Structural Unemployment...

This building, located in a booming area of east Copenhagen and designed by former PLOT partners, is simply amazing.
I visited the work in progress a year ago and I had already been impressed by the complexity of the internal layout and the subtle shadows drawn by the triangular balconies. But the thing surely looks even better finished. Boy, those corridors...

People expect developers to deliver cleverly engineered applications that are bug-free and that works. But when will web developers finally get half-decent HTML from all these cow-boys who call themselves web designers? The time they "earn" using their WYSIWYG is lost when it comes to script and template integration. They can't imagine how rewarding it is to crawl their obsolete table-based layouts and their clueless span tags. It's just like your BMW mechanics was using Lada spare parts...

Here's a belgian made shameless ripoff of 37 signals. How can they be stupid enough to think that no one will notice as not only the general layout and the typography but even the logo has been obviously ripped!

For f*ck's sake, get yourself a brain! I'm ashamed for you, guys...

By the way, guess who was the loyal watchdog? ;)

UPDATE: The losers pull down their website after a few days with an abnormaly high number of visits. :)

Web standards at work : the Senior PGA Championship website is a brilliant, validating, combo of XHTML, JavaScript and even Flash! Whoever is responsible for this, he has my most entire respect.
